Alcohol Awareness
This survival guide is designed to inform you of the facts you should know and understand about alcohol. It will help you identify the many pitfalls and consequences you may face when you choose to drink alcohol excessively, and provide you with eye opening assistance in making right choices for being a responsible drinker.

    Safety and Security may be the last things on your mind while you're in school, but don't think for a minute they don't affect you. Serious crimes like rape and murder do occur on campus. And every year, tens of thousands of crimes are reported at colleges and universities throughout the United States. However, by taking a few simple, commonsense precautions you can protect your property and yourself and avoid many dangerous situations.

    Emergency Response for Multi-Story Buildings
    In the event of an emergency in a multi-story building, all occupants need to know what to do, where to go and who is in charge. This course will provide you with the information you need to safely evacuate a multi-story building in case of an emergency.

    Fire Safety
    You may not believe it, but there are an average of 1,800 fires every year in residence halls, fraternities, and sororities, many resulting in death. In fact in recent years, eight students were killed in two fires, one at Seton Hall University and one at the University of North Carolina. In a fire, what you don’t know can kill you.

    Pest Management
    Besides being a nuisance, pests have the potential to harm people, equipment and facilities. This course explores pest management strategies that prevent pest problems. Emphasis is placed on safety information for the person handling and applying pesticides, and personal safety strategies when encountering and removing pests.
