PureSafety Unites Health and Safety Professionals with Next Generation Occupational Health Manager (OHM) Software

Enhancements integrate OHM and Learning and Safety Management System, streamline user interface and improve e-health records

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – April 6, 2010 – PureSafety, a leading provider of results-driven software and information solutions for workforce safety and health, has unveiled the most significant release of its Occupational Health Manager (OHM) software since adding OHM to its industry-leading suite of solutions in December 2008. The newest version of OHM offers significant workflow efficiency improvements and single sign-on capabilities with PureSafety’s Learning and Safety Management System (LSMS) and other applications that meet SAML 2.0 standards. The system now features more comprehensive e-health records, intuitive dashboards to help improve program and task visibility and an updated user interface to improve navigation, reduce keystrokes and prevent data errors. Extended search and lookup capabilities, combined with expanded reporting and more detailed graphs and charts also improve a customer’s ability to quickly find, organize and share critical information.

“The launch of OHM revolutionized the occupational health industry in 1986, and this release underscores why it continues to be a leading-edge solution,” said Marshall Martin, executive vice president and general manager of PureSafety’s Workforce and Occupational Health Management Solutions business unit. “OHM unites health and safety professionals with powerful tools to manage the entire workforce lifecycle, from initial hire and screenings, to injury prevention, corrective actions and return-to-work programs. OHM empowers executives with the accurate, up-to-date information they need, while helping end-users to be more productive and keep their people safe, healthy and on the job.”

According to Bill Grana, president and CEO at PureSafety, “The latest generation of OHM reinforces our position of market leadership and continues our commitment to create the industry’s most comprehensive suite of software and information solutions designed for workforce safety and health. It also represents an important step toward our vision of integrating enterprise-wide solutions to drive new levels of performance in the critical areas of compliance, risk management, governance and culture.”
