NASHVILLE, Tenn., - Aug 25, 2009 - Nashville-based PureSafety, a leading provider of training, safety, occupational health and medical management software solutions, today announced that it has received the honor of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Future 50 Award for the fifth time and, as a result, will be inducted into the Future 50 Hall of Fame. Marissa Benchea, director of small business programs for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce commented, “PureSafety’s induction into the Nashville Area Chamber’s Future 50 Hall of Fame is an outstanding accomplishment achieved by only 38 companies in the 18-year history of this award program. Future 50 identifies, celebrates and supports entrepreneurial growth among fast-growing, privately held companies that have impacted the region’s economy based on employment, revenue and other facets of growth. The Nashville Chamber is honored to recognize the achievements of PureSafety and the positive impact the company has made on the prosperity of our region.” To qualify for the award, a company must be privately owned, headquartered in Middle Tennessee, have at least 10 employees or annual revenue of at least $500,000 and anticipate revenue and employee growth of 10 percent or more for the next three years. “It is with great pride that we once again receive the honor of the Future 50 Award,” stated President and CEO Bill Grana. “To be recognized above and beyond all of the vibrant companies in this area reflects the hard work of our team members and the purpose-driven organization we have created. We also consider ourselves fortunate to be joining a select group of Middle Tennessee-based companies that will be inducted into the Future 50 Hall of Fame in 2009.” The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce will honor the Nashville region's 50 fastest-growing companies at the Future 50 Awards at the Renaissance Hotel on Sept. 16 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. Winners will also be profiled in a special section of The Tennessean on Sept. 15.
