Nashville, TN., August 1, 2005 - PureSafety, a leading provider of online safety training and risk management solutions, announced that it has been recognized as one of Tennessee’s fastest growing private companies by Business Tennessee Magazine. The second annual list of fastest growing companies will appear in the August 2005 issue of Business Tennessee, which is on newsstands now.
“We are honored to receive this award from Business Tennessee,” said William A. Grana, Jr., President and CEO of PureSafety. “PureSafety has experienced significant growth since its founding in 1999. We are grateful to our shareholders, customers, and employees for the commitment and support they have given to us over the last six years. This is an exciting time for our company, and we hope to continue to build upon our track record of aggressive growth.” To be considered, Fast50 nominees must have been in business for at least three years, generate more than $750,000 of revenue, employ five or more people, be independent and privately owned (not publicly traded or a subsidiary) and be headquartered in Tennessee. Kraft CPA’s reviewed the submitted nominations. This year’s Fast50 companies on average experienced a 74% increase in revenue in their most recent fiscal years, generating an aggregate top line of $1.8 billion, up from $1.4 billion generated by the previous year’s list. Together these businesses employ nearly 25,000 people, many of whom live and work in Tennessee.
“The 2005 Business Tennessee Fast50 surely reflects the diversity of the industry that is so beneficial to our state, “said David A. Fox, editor of Business Tennessee magazine. “These companies are showing what entrepreneurial drive amid a good business climate can accomplish. Many of these businesses are destined to be Tennessee’s biggest employers and publicly traded corporations of tomorrow.” About PureSafety About Business Tennessee |
