We empower these professionals to do more with more, giving them all the tools they need to streamline key processes and achieve bottom-line business results. Our dedicated team of over 100 employees now serves thousands of organizations in over 20 major industries, including customers in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and numerous other countries.

History
In 1998, Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation, a Tennessee-based heavy equipment dealer, suffered the first and only on-the-job fatality in its 54-year history. Thompson had formal safety programs and dedicated safety resources, but senior management, devastated by the accident, responded with an initiative to leverage the Internet and other emerging technologies to do more to improve safety programs and prevent another tragedy.

Out of tragedy, PureSafety was born. What started as an internal training management tool for Thompson and other heavy equipment dealers soon demonstrated its value in many industries. In 1999, PureSafety became an independent company and has been expanding its presence in the industry ever since.

During its first decade, PureSafety has developed the industry's largest library of Flash-based courses covering all aspects of Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources compliance, and more. It was also the first online safety training company to deliver an OnDemand solution, offering the convenience of purchasing training on a per-assignment basis using a credit card or promotional code. In October 2006, PureSafety significantly expanded its solution suite by acquiring PerDatum, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for managing incident reporting and investigation, workers' compensation, disability and absence programs. A powerful, web-based Content Editing System was added in 2007 to allow customers to efficiently customize online training courses.

PureSafety's Total Solution
PureSafety's results-driven products and client-focused services comprise a total solution that empowers industry professionals to simplify key tasks, reduce costs and enhance productivity in three critical areas: Training & Incident Prevention; Incident Response; Injury & Absence Management. While we constantly expand and improve our products and services to keep up with ever-changing safety and risk management needs and best practices, all fall into the following categories:

Online Safety Training Delivery & Management
